How to make Growl notifications show up in your secondary monitor

If you’re using Growl and have more than one monitor, here’s how to make the notifications appear on your secondary display:

  1. System Preferences->Growl
  2. Display Options
  3. Screen: 1 (or 2 or 3 etc…) – 0 is for your primary monitor.

Google Tasks as a desktop app

Here’s how to set up Google Tasks as a desktop app:

  1. Get Prism (pc) or Fluid (mac)
  2. Set up a new app using the following URL: https://mail.google.com/tasks/canvas
  3. Get a fancy icon

If you’re using Android, download gTasks from the market.

Wall painting at the kindergarten

Mika is sick OK!

Mika, at the Vet

Mika is sick.

The Vet thinks she has Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, a condition where the body attacks its own red blood cells. She has trouble breathing and lost her (famous) appetite.

She’s on Prednisone, antibiotics and acid regulators.

Mika is with us for almost two years now. We’ve picked her up from a shelter where she stayed after being abandoned on the streets.

Update: She’s much better now :) .
